Soviet Surplus 440 rounds - 90$
Soviet Surplus 880 rounds - 170$
Silver tipped and copper washed 7.62x54R Soviet ammo. Should be just as good or better than the Czech ammo. Enjoy!

The stuff on AIM for $89 is Bulgarian I believe. It has a lacquer coated case and from what I hear, very accurate. The only draw back is the lacquer coated case can cause a sticky bolt in some cases. The Czech surplus is great because it is almost as accurate as the Bulgarian but its a copper washed case. AIM has the Czech stuff back in stock.

Well this Soviet surplus is also copper washed, which is why I mentioned it and compared it with the Czech stuff. What you guys have noticed with the Bulgarian and Hungarian stuff is the same as others have mentioned elsewhere.
The Czech and Soviet is preferred over the Hungarian and Bulgarian ammo.
Thanks for the info on this ammo. Been wondering about it.
I actually read that the Soviet is not as good as the Bulgarian. Its all Mil-surp so it is what it is. I have used the Czech and love it. I am going to get a tin of either the Bulgarian or Russian next to try it. They say every rifle likes its own ammo. My M44 is all over the paper with the Czech. Perhaps I will have better luck with some other kind.
