Will be getting my NRA Instructor Creds soon! Can't wait! Now I'll be able to certify folks after I train them.:hyper:

Hell my nephew is the one that hooked me up on myspace years ago. I've since closed that shit hole and learned facebook, but still.

Not looking forward to that part though. Utter freaking boredum! Was it hard to stay awake?
Listening to that man talk, yes. I think the whole class could have been summed up in just a few hours, rather than almost 40 hours within 3 days. The class really didn't teach you much, just provide to the instructor that you could stand in front of a several people and talk. Everything else you were on your own to figure out from all the literature and actual 790 statutes that dictate all the carry conceal laws.

6 days and two beautiful weekends later I'm finally over with all my Instructor training. Sweet! Just gotta wait for my creds to come in.
Should take about a month to come in.

That's what Terry was saying, but then he said we just missed the last processing date and it may take as long as January to come in.
Mine took about 1 month around this same time. So cross your fingers, did he also mention that he likes to slack off also when submitting for the certs. He is too busy counting all the money he made from these class's.

I doubled checked my paperwork and all that good stuff and the RSO course was FREE. It was an addition to all the others.
Courses:
BIT
Homefirearm safety Instructor
Basic Pistol Instructor
Personal Protection in the Home Instructor
Basic Rifle Instructor
Basic Shotgun instructor
RSO
Next up is the LEO NRA Firearm Instructor course!

nah, you send NRA 14 bucks and they send you a book and a test to take at home, not a cost thing but a time thing.

Apparently it's been found and in the processing stage. Of course we are unable to determine if this is true or not, but hopefully our shit gets done here soon.

Your TC, can check for you as to the situation on your "certs" It can take up to 2-3 mo.s
BTW, just a HEADS UP. The NRA has initiated a "clamp down" on ALL training.
A. you WILL do it their way or lose your creds.
TCs are being asked to monitor "basic" classes & investigate any "student" complaints.
TCs sign a "compliance" form now. ( includes not only that they will teach ONLY the NRA curriculum, but do the paper work.) & yes their classes will be monitored.
SR & Master TCs are also being checked by "monitors" from Hq. Our "Training team" ( 2 SRs & 2 Masters just completed a TC Workshop. The NRA sent a man out. We passed with "flying colors", but he told the "team, that several others that he had observed DID NOT.
B. On an up note, the NEW TC manual has just been released. A lot of changes.
C. BE SURE TO CHECK The BASIC CLASS Material. It has CHANGED.

Well look at that! Maybe that'll make the TC we all used step it up. He was dragging ass on his training methods big time. I have gotten my creds since luckily. i need to dig in and start getting to work on setting up classes and such.
