I love the part where they say the gun was dangerous. This isn't Beretta's fault. This is the fault of the Sheriff's Deputy, no less, for allowing his kid to have access to a firearm which is against federal law. The second one is not educating all those in the household about said firearms in the home. People are just so retarded and will try to a find a way to sue anyone for anything.
so if this kid would have choked on a hot dog, would they sue Oscar Myer?
this is some bullshit..

It's the American way, sue anything an everything. The only reason this is being pointed out is because it is firearm related with only fires up the anti-gun propaganda fucking hippies.
Mag safeties are definitely not the industry standard and sometimes a rarely requested option if it is available for some models. I understand why LEO's sometimes want it, but in this case, the kid broke pretty much every cardinal rule of gun safety. The loss of a child is tragic, but in this case the only thing Beretta is guilty of is having the deepest pocket.
The only person who should be able to be sued is the parents of the shooter. For not securing their firearm properly. How is the manufacturer guilty of anything.

^+1....My sentiments exactly. Isn't if federal law that if you have kids or expect kids to be in your home, firearms must be locked and secured so that they cannot gain access to them?
Very true, the owner(s) are responsible for that firearm.

"Billy’s parents sued Beretta, among others, contending that the gun manufacturer failed to warn users of this kind of pistol that removal of the magazine did not make it safe."
Really??
Maybe if they read their owners manual that is supplied with the firearm they would know this. How did they know of any manufacturers that have a magazine disconnect. Obviously they knew that much, but they didn't know enough to keep the firearm from their kids.

Why do people have to take there single incident and try to cry and change everything for everyone else. Big deal, your kid was an idiot and so was his friend. One less gas attendant.

yh people love to join groups and force their beliefs and opinions on others. What happen to just following the bill or rights etc and letting people live by their own?

Agreed. I thought the idea of a shared society was that we all agreed on a set of rules, that will work for 90% of the people, and we share it. Not one whiney bitch tries to change all the rules because they're born less fortunate, less intelligent, or a combination of being ugly and just plain stupid.

What works for 90% of people? You're kidding right? A melting pot is too diverse to ever get over 60% commonality for any facet of life in this country. But that 60% is supposed to be the Majority - and that is what laws are supposed to be about, the Majority.
Instead we have democrats that are only voted for by maybe 10% of that Majority at best, so they create hand-outs and laws to screw the Majority and benefit the minority groups just to get their vote. Sadly the non-majority is too stupid to realize that hand-outs just hold you back and keep you under the democrats thumbs. Funny how they get all the free shit, yet they still complain the most.
One of the few times I'll yell here:
IF YOU WANT A BETTER LIFE, QUIT FUCKING CRYING AND GO EARN IT!

Well that was my point. I mean I figured since there's people like Cris, maybe the majority wasn't so scarce, but I suppose Cris is just a rather unique individual. :)

You will always have an aliby for DNA evidence.......
You will always have an aliby for DNA evidence.......
Can't do that to family.
No no.... that's not what I'm saying. Interesting thing about twins is that there is always a shadow of doubt with DNA evidence......
