Not sure where to begin looking. Some of you guys have met her so you know she's not going to be shooting much bigger than a .380 cal. I'd think she would be more comfortabe keeping something in her purse so it would have to be something small. My only requirements are that it has to be reliable but I'm sure that "cute" will be a word I'll be hearing when she wants to make a decision. Any ideas on where to start looking (brands, etc...)?

some may flame me for this but the walther p22 with CCI stingers is perfect.... even comes in pink if she wants... I have carried my p22 when wearing a suit or something more form fitting and never thought twice about it... my daily carry is a G23 .40 but i have been known to carry the p22 when needed

Cris and his woman love the Ruger LCP. That's a nice compact weapon.
Mine is weird she liked the G30sf so I bought her that. Now she wants one of those S&W revolvers with the pink grips.
I'd think a revolver would be a great carry for the woman, but it's really up to what she's comfortable with. Have her finece a few toys and see what she likes.
Dan, if you want I can let you borrow both the Walther PPS 9mm and Ruger LCP .380. You can go try both at the range with her. Sorry, I won't supply you with ammo, plus you clean it when you are done. I take that back I will clean them myself. LOL!!!

Dan, bring Jill by the shop and we can get her started in the right direction.

I will no longer take grief for improperly cleaning a gun....you guys will just drop in it the sonic cleaner anyways:raspberry:. I'll talk to her about stopping by soon.
I'll start reading up on the guns you guys suggested. Thanks for the help guys

I don't always use the sonic cleaner, just sometimes. Definitely get her stop by to see options, then do your research from what feels good to her.
Not that it matters because its all about what feels right for the person but my wife carries one of those stubby S&W J frame revolvers in .38

My wife wouldnt have stayed with the pink grips anyway. She switched to a set of Mahogany grips that my dad gave her and she finds it more comfortable to shoot with those.
You can always order the pink grips for her, nice stocking stuffer.

Perhaps if I can find a set that fit her hands nicely. But if I buy her pistol grips, I better hide jewelry in them or its my ass.
