I am trading my colt new agent for the satin nickle combat commander...will post pics tonight
getting 100rnds of Speer gold dot HP with it
I will wait to see the pics to comment.
I have over 30 guns and the one that means most dear to me is the first one I bought: a blued Colt Commander LW. That said, I haven't shot the New Agent so I don't know how enamoured I'd be over the sighting system it has. The only basis I have is that if I had both guns on the wall for sale, I'd lay good money that the New Agent would sell first.

i think the new agent has a better cool factor but the 3" gets you no accuracy over distance and i just cant seem to get the trench sigting down... i have since shelfed my new agent for my glock and sig again for carry
I spoke with colt and if needed a complete slide refinish is satin nickle was 75.00..not bad at that

Really? Can you direct me to where speak to someone about the same? I have a satin nickel 70 series Government that I need refinished both frame and slide tho. Most shops are looking at $175 for the whole gun. If comparable, I'd rather go with Colt.

you guys :lino:
Please... you are only 2nd place to Joe in purchases so far this year. And that's only firearm related. I'm sure if we took all toy purchases you'd win in a landslide. =)

Phil talked to colt today and they was 325.00 + 30.00 for s&h for the entire gun...far cry from 75.00 just for the slide
Yeah, that pretty much nixes Colt from redoing my gun. I'm in no rush tho as I just enjoy shooting the damn thing as it is.
