Check them out. Not sure how well they'd work in a Supertuck with no under shirt. Seems to me the way I carry it would rub against my side to much, but for all you glock guys this seems like a good grip solution. Cheap too, with free shipping. And wouldn't you know it, there's our local celebrity hickok45 on the front page with his 230 yard shot. haha.

So I've had this gun grip on my service weapon for 3 months now..so far..thumbs down..didn't stick well, even with using the blow dryer. And if it's on a duty weapon like mine, it tends to wear easily; I guess with the getting in and out of the vehicle and the grip banging on the seatbelt lock. I think it's coming off and I'm going to change it to the AGrip like I have on my Kahr PM9

Just get the grip stippled if you purchased your own duty weapon. Check with Ben @ Boresight Solutions, he's a pro with Glocks.
Adhesives is just asking for probs to wear out. A normal cleaning will kill the glues pretty quickly.

Unfortunately it is a dept. issued weapon, so I can't do much custom work at all...I'm actually surprised how difficult it is to find a grip for such a widely used gun as the Glock. So many fly-by-nite companies that make 3rd party stuff for the gun, yet most of them are crap. I hate the hogue slip-on grip, as the palm swells just make the gun uncomfortable..I'm up for any suggestions!!

Boresight would of been it, but since its dept issue I'm not sure what else there is since you tried most of the afternarket stuff. Next best thing I'd say get with the crew at Guntech and say what they can conjure up for ya.
Try a Gen 4 Glock, a smaller grip and better grip texture.

It's possible that hand oils might inhibit the glues ability to stick. I haven't personally tried these yet, because I carry concealed with no lining shirt, so it would rub, but I have only heard good things about them. I am surprised you haven't had good luck with them.

There are plenty of slip on grip options out there for the Glock. If the Hogue is not to your liking, try another. But a slip on will be your best bet over any grip tape, especially for a duty/carry weapon.

I've heard good things about people using that skate board tape.

Yeah, when you install the talon grip, the first thing you do is clean the grip off with a rubbing alcohol pad..still..not a fan..ok..I'l check out another slip grip..

I bought some RV grip tape at the hardware store (made for RV steps and stuff like that). I cut it down with some old scissors and put it on after a good rub down with some rubbing alcohol. I like it. I put it on the front of the slide and on the front strap of my Glock 22.
You could try that, I like it and the whole roll was less than $5.
I also put it on the front strap of my STI Spartan.

Props to the staff at GunTech for removing the talon gun grip and placing a new tacky grip on my service Glock...so glad Rich didn't go with the pink one..ha!! Seems to be working just fine for me..I gotta try it out on the range still..but this past weekend in the rain, it worked just fine...
Frederick is the one who hooked ya up, he also put the same grip tape on the my XD9. Worked out good for me, but it's not a carry piece either. I am curious to see how long it holds up for ya though.

You talking about your ported XD-9, Cris? You looking to add a comp to the end and make it a gaming gun?
