The first and last I think are the best methods. The kit size of both can be extremely small (flint & steel is a heavier carry). You can use nearly dead batteries on the steel wool so you're getting even more use out of "spent" equipment. In an urban SHTF, survival scenario, steel wool is quite plentiful to source from any abandoned building.
The magnifying glass usually takes some very good direct sunlight. If the day if heavily overcast it will hamper your fire-making abilities. And the wood methods require lots foraging for the right materials and, once you find them, a large and possibly heavy constant carry.
Thanks for the video's Chris, I actually never thought of using the steel wool for a survival bag before and had always planned for using a magnifying glass. Time to go get some thin wool pads and remember to save all the old 9-volts. Stuff them in ziplock bags and I'm good to go. =)

I have a flint that is very very small and weighs maybe an ounce. Will have to take a pic for you. Similar to what the guy has in Man vs Wild
