we are XD heavy on this forum.
I personally own more than one XD and dont have a glock
I think Glocks are great guns and recommend them frequently but the grip angles dont work for me.
OK people I guess we need to XD pron this thread

I would pull my XD out right now and photo it for you... if I wasn't at work. I'd probably scare a few co-workers. =)
XD45 Compact is full of win - it trumps a laser blaster, lightsaber, rail gun and photon torpedo.
Only thing cooler is an FN Five-seveN. =)
All I know is that I wouldn't buy a Croatian car...... lol

for me with the XD I don't like the extra rear safety on the grip, even though it's still comfortable, just overkill to me I guess. the slide also seems gigantic and makes it look a little chunky to me (funny having a guy that likes Glocks say that :) ).
but it's still a comfortable gun to hold, the trigger out of the box is much nicer than a Glock out of the box. you get a lot of stuff for your money, a nice case, holster, mag holster. you probably won't end up not using the holster but it's there.
whenever someone comes in the shop asking what to get for concealed carry I'll hand them both the XD and the Glock. ultimately (I think) it's what feels comfortable as a shooter as far as the grip and the trigger. also some people like the thought of the extra grip safety, some people don't. both are well made and I would trust my life with either one, I just don't have an XD personally.

the 4th gen's are pretty cool. the extra grip is nice but it's not as aggressive as the RTF versions. the extra back straps are cool too but I haven't opened one yet to try them on the gun.
Yeah, I was pawing at a 4th gen 17 yesterday. Nicky says I can use my armorer's discount! woot!

I used to own Glocks until I got tired of the "snappy trigger" I hated. So in one week I sold all three glocks, I already had a XDm-9 so I got another XDM a 3.8 and XD 3'' subcompact 9mm. 13+1 and 16+1 more than Glock 26. So bye bye Glock I am XD man...
