I missed out on a Veridian like above. They did a thing with Ruger when I bought my pistol that you got a Veridian light/laser combo for half off. I lost the coupon and missed the freakin date

I likey lasers... they great teaching aids as well..

LOL, there's a lot of good points here. I agree with Jax, Cris, and Lino. Imagine that. If you use it right, especially as a home defense gun, I think it'd be very efficient. In a high stress situation, closing an eye to aim, and keeping your hands steady might prove difficult. Having a laser, especially one wired to a button or pressure pad, would definitely be the ideal way for a quick, accurate take down IMO. Then again, for home defense you should just have a 12 gauge, and I sure as hell ain't hauling a gun around all day with that on the accessories rail.
In a high stress situation, you won't have time to aim. Its just going to be point and shoot, which is why you have to also be trained well in how to use that laser. If you aren't you are just going to leave the laser on while your white knuckling your firearm and leave a nice map for the assailant to you.

Don't know how much these go for, but I know somewhere that has one for $295 shipped.
