Don't they already make their own assault rifle for Germany? Or am I thinking of H&K?

Yes they're Swiss for the Swiss but they are also used by Argentina, France, Holy See (Papal Swiss Guards) Yes! I was shocked too, Jordan, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, US (Federal Reserve Police) and Yes you were right! Germany also uses them.

I guess they see potential in the AR market. The SIG SBRs, Carbines & LBRs are slightly heavier than your typical AR models, but I don't know if these will be sold out of the US.

Federal Reserve Police? You're kidding. They shouldn't have guns. They should be armed with non-violent foam head protectors so they last longer when we beat them all.

So no one will ever see these, with how back logged Sig is. Forget trying to get any new products from them, you will wait forever. Sig really lost a lot of faith with me seeing how they operate. I will go to manufacturer's that can actually accommodate their customers.

I'm not sure at what level you are having issues or had with SIG but what I've learned these past week after aquiring the 556 is that SIG does not offer that much variety in accesories. I did notice though that some after market manufacturers like Troy, KZ & Samson are begining to come out with accesories for it but not nearly as much variety as the AR platform.

Being this new item will be an AR-15 platform getting accessories should be much easier as you are not locked into Sig only accessories anymore.

Seeing the dealings with Sig working at Guntech is why and how I know all about Sig. They make nice products, when it comes to the handguns, but when it comes to getting accessories or even the guns its always a huge wait.

How dissapointing, specially considering the quality arms they build.

They think just because they are Sig, they can do whatever they want. And in the long run all they do is piss off their customers. The really need to focus on their customer service and distribution.

One of my favorite guns is the 226 and probably why I don't own a Beretta 92F. However, I am not a fan of their P250 which is really the only completely new thing they have introduced in some time. The P238 is really just a remake of the Colt Mustang, so I am not going to give them any creation kudos there even tho they look really nice. I keep going back the the P250 and how the mere release of that gun has lowered their prestige in my eyes. Anyway, back to topic. The AR market is over-saturated now. I don't think Sig has been really innovative anymore.

Springfield has kick ass customer service though, unlike Ruger.

Look, Sig is going to sell another weapon with a 10$ chinese POS knockoff red dot sight on it which they'll sell separately for 400$ because it has their name on it.

I'll pass on paying extra for a rifle with their name on it.
