Gentlemen,
On Nov. 7-8 and after more than 18 years, Homestead Air Force Base will be hosting "Wings Over Homestead".
It will be free admission and it should be a blast for kids.

I hate Miami (or even Dade County). The only reason I even go down there (or driving through to go to the keys) is if I have friends and family coming to town and they want to see South Beach. Even then they normally prefer going to Fort Lauderdale beach after they have experienced the two.

Nah, just honest. LOL!!
The only thing good in South Beach is Hofbrau on Lincoln Ave. They are a traditional German ale house with real German food and beer. You can get a "boot" of beer there. Its 2L of beer. I love that place.

Well. The show was kick ass. Lots of armed security, both LE & MP. It felt really good to see the air show back in HAFB, a base that at one time it was destined to be closed. They were organized and everything seemed to go according to plan.
I will have to admit the this show is far better than air & sea show for the simple fact that you can get close and personal with planes, helicopters, armored vehicles & much more. There's nothing like looking down a 8 barreled, 30MM cannon from a A-10 Warhog or seeing an F-15 Strike Eagle doing a fly by and pushing a shield shape vapor cloud while on the verge of breaking the sound barrier.
