doubt that ... NYPD uses them as does many other PD's .. plus it is probably their most popular model of all time.
I doubt that they will stop making that model also.

I still havent bought one of those things. Last time I shot one I shot like shit, cuz I wasn't used to the grip frame etc. Great gun though!
