Wow.Well, I think we've all been clear on this forum how much we hate scumbags, but a good fit cop should have been able to take that drugged up amateur down a lot quicker than that. If that was the case, maybe less people would have gotten hurt. Besides, the scumbag is dead. What more is there to say about him? We usually complain about the ones that are still on trial. This one has been dealt with properly, so we turned our complaints to the cops this time! lol

Fat or not cop did his job and went home that night. I can speak from experience since I'm not the smallest guy in the bunch, but my size doesn't mean a damn thing as long as I get the job done. Bottom line is perp 0 good guys 1. Rule #1 everyone goes home, and that day those officers did!

As for Ofc. McGuinness, he got pretty lucky. It's too bad that law enforcement agencies (non elite) kinda take the officer's physical abilities in stride. In this case this would of only hurt himself but there are a lot of different scenarios were the ones affected are civilians depending on the execution of these officers' duties.

I have to agree though. Take for example fire fighters that are female. That makes no sense to me. If I'm trapped in a burning building and passed out, do I want little 140 lb Susan coming up the ladder to save my ass, or do I want 250 lb Bubba coming up that ladder for me? That girl aint gonna be able to lift my ass and get me out of the building! No offense to girls but I think there are certain careers that require a certain body or build. Don't get me wrong if that 140 lb girl can carry a 200 lb plus guy then cool let her be a fire fighter but if not then see ya later. Same thing with cops. There should be a somewhat strict physical fitness test that they must pass to get on the force and then fitness testing should be recquired every year or two.
