Didn't know this wasn't posted long ago when LaRue was first sued by Dick(head) Swan. ARMS locking mechanisms suck ass. It's all 15 year old technology that they can't update or innovate, so they get trademarks for the use of numbers (yes, Dick Swan has the marketing rights for about 60 different numbers in regards to firearm accessories) and use that to use people to supplement their (lack of) income.
Hell, I believe they are the ones that sued MagPul over the MBUS sights and got an injunction against MagPul so that they could not sell anymore until the court case is complete (which Swan would keep in litigation for years until the product is no longer profitable).
ARMS - the worst name in firearms.

well I know who to avoid...though maybe i should buy a cheap ass ARMS and trade it for a larue though lol
Yeah, I unfortunately have a couple of ARMS products one of which I can not trade in as it is a built in part of the Eotech that I have. The other is an ARMS #40L which is the lowest profile BUIS I have than can fit under the ACOG, so it's not going anywhere. But what they did sucks ass. This industry is pretty sue happy tho.

DISCLOSURE: Cris is not implying he "likes" these products. He still hates them, same as everything else, but is only saying that he got a lucky part from them that is actually holding up.

I actually like my cantilever mount. Plus it was in stock at Guntech when I did the build.
