i was at walmart and they had some .40 cal ammo in stock. federal ammo to be specific.
at the register, each box came up as blazer ammo and for $14 each!
score!!

Walmart raised the price of all their pistol ammo. CCI & Federal are both ATK ammo brands, so Walmart likely treats them the same. They also charge an extra dollar per box for Winchester brand over the others (probably because Winchester has the fulfillment contracts for Walmart ammo).
Currently Blazer/Champion ammo from Walmart up here is:
9mm = 11.97
40sw = 14.97
45acp = 15.97

dam! you ruined my day now
I've consistently been seeing .40 in Whitebox bulk packs for $30 +tx at WM. For some reason .40 has been more available lately than other calibers.

That's because the military doesn't use .40S&W but they do use 9mm & .45ACP, and right now the Army gets first priority from LCAAP. Same reason you rarely ever see Winchester Q3131A 5.56 at Walmart anymore either.

hit walmart yesterday and got 300rnds of federal .40 for 13.97 a box as well as 150 federal 9mm for 9.47 a box
