Anyone have any experiance with these Ruger P95... i had someone offer one to me ..two tone model with rails and 3 mags.. he wanted 280.00...offered 250.00... I know they are not the best but are they worth 250.00 for a 9mm range gun? :feedback:

How many rounds down the tube? Is he quoting a condition percentage? 90%? 95%?
The two-tone are steadily going from 330$ new on Gunbroker, couple even had free shipping. This means a show price could probably be haggled to 300$, drop that to 90% and you're at 270$. Say an extra 15$ for the 3rd mag and 20$ for the holster... now you're at 305$ as an approximate resale value. So you're making out 25$ from what I can figure.
Sorry, I went into appraiser mode there. Old jobs die hard. =)

Well, good thing you're not getting it as a carry weapon (you're not right?). I couldn't convince myself to use a gun with a manual thumb safety as a carry weapon. =)

I use one (when I do carry as I'm learning to conceal better) with a manual safety. Then again I have trained myself to always draw and flick the safety at the same time. I can draw just as fast as a friend of mine who has a pistol without it. It's just something that you have to practice and more importantly remember to turn the safety off. Another reason why (as Cris initially pointed out to me when I got it) that you have to make a decision with it and that is either always have it on or always have it off. Then train that way or else one day you may draw and think the safety is off and all of a sudden there is no boom, well at least coming from you lol

not gonna be a carry weapon... my g23 is my everyday carry and should i ever carry a 9mm...it will be my 228...this gun is range only

Alrighty, then you're good to go. But obviously make that last push for a lower price.
Sweet, someone actually listened to me... for once. :tiphat:

exactly
Now that you are not getting it, I think the P-90, P-94, and P-95 are the reason why I refuse to give the SR-9 a chance. :barf:
