Don't think anyone on here is big into the SR9 or any of Ruger's pistols but they are releasing a compact version of the SR9 and is available for shipping on January 15th

Apparently it will accept the larger SR9 magazines as well and when first purchasing the pistol they include 2 magazines, a 10 rounder as well as a full sized 17 rounder that has a grip extension

Long as tail on that thing, but it looks like they got the grip length just right so that most people can do without a Pearce extension poking out.

In all, not bad. Oddly enough the black model looks way better than the two-tone.

yh the black does look better. They do include and grip extension though and from what I read it makes it a lot more comfortable.

It got very good reviews...at least from the little that I have read and the few that have had the opportunity to test it. They tried with all different types of rounds and not even a hiccup

Quite a bit smaller than its big brother.

I LOVE my LCP and my Mark II. The Super Redhawk and Blackhawk have always been on my short list of guns to acquire. But you are right about how I feel about the SR9.:barf:

I'm telling you I love my SR9. My buddy has an XD and I like the SR9 better. The absolutely only thing that I like about his XD over my SR9 is his trigger. But I haven't done any work on my trigger and think I could do some things to at least smooth it out a little. (And it's, in my opinion, not all that better. Just a little better)

I'll have to take pictures of my targets next time at the range becuase the gun is very very accurate.

Yh I was considering getting this as my next pistol. May be a little ways off as I have a couple other projects I want to start on. Right now I'm looking at building a small power source with some solar panels etc. LOL have my hand in too many things right now.

thats nice......what do you have in mind? i've seen one in coconut creek i think a few weeks ago on a house....it was big....i think he had over 2KW on the roof......depends on what kind of panels he used... i liked it a lot....to bad i can't do one myself because i live in a apartment building at first floor....maybe if i was at the last floor.....
and with the ruger i still have trouble to make my mind, because i also want to start building a AR15 or to buy one .......maybe i am going to do that because i dont have anything in 223/5,56 and i allready have a 9mm compact pistol, a glock 19......its hard....good luck with the solar system....let me know if you need help to put them on the roof....i do roofing repairs.....and i know a bit about them....

probably start really small lol...Probably like something like 175 watt setup for emergencies and power outages etc. I just don't have the thousands of dollars to pour into it right now. I just think it would be a good idea and perhaps better than going with a generator

After looking over a few articles on this pistol, I'm thinking of putting it on the woman's consideration list.

Cool... I have considered it. But i have a few other things on my mind before I purchase it. I like the fact that my current mags would fit it and you can add the attachment to the grip to get a full size 9mm for the range etc

I have seen a few of these in the shop now. Is everyone one sitting down, I am almost leaning to say I like it a little bit. I like it much better than its counter part. Still a shit trigger but I still like it.

Careful, we'll have the Homeland security snooping around these forums. Pretty soon they're going to jump you, put a beard on you, and say you're our radical Islam leader, then throw us all in Guantanamo Bay.
