Well damn Chris, weren't you just the poor guy on the line. Only 150 rounds and only 1 gun. jk lol

lol, never thought of it that way.

i don't envy those guys when they have to go home and clean all those toys.

It's all good. I usually can't stand the guys that brring 4-5 toys to the range with them. Those are usually the same pricks that don't keep their brass properly policed and leaves me having to search for mine in their mixed pile of shit.

Looks like they did a nice job with the range.

The range looks nice by the pictures...

What firearms were used and at what distance?

That is one hell of a trigger pull you got there.
If you don't mind me asking; How are you placing your finger on the trigger?

nice buddy, sorry I could not make it.. I was all beat up after camping..

great pics of the range.. did they change the rules as to how many guns you can bring out at once? did they time limit you? was it packed? can you shoot rifle standing up if you wish?

it's a .40 SW DAO and i was firing from 7 yards.

i always try to place the trigger on the tip of my index finger.
it's a pretty long pull and a bit heavy, but the recoil is almost non existent.

they did not change the rules, however, everyone there seemed to have forgotten them.

it was packed around 2pm, i waited almost an hour to shoot.

they did not limit you to number of rifles and i'm sorry, but i didn't notice if anyone was firing a rifle from the standing position.

do they make you clean up the brass like at Markham?

no...nothing has changed except for the look of the range.

I noticed something wrong. They have Summer & Winter hours... but Apr 6-7th is both Summer & Winter, but I guess that doesn't matter too much right now since both schedules are the same. Weirdos!

That has to be it. The heavy plus the long pull is making you place some shots to the right and bottom.

Something to consider if this is your carry piece or one that you shoot often, is to get a trigger job done on it. You'll be surprise how it affects your groupings which by BTW they are not bad, I just noticed that you had some loose their trajectory.

Good shooting meng....

thanks.

i definitely need more practice, since it was only the second time out with the gun.
the sights and trigger are both Novak.

Not to contradict but I would def. advise not getting trigger work done to your carry gun, this is a huge liability if you ever had to use the firearm in self defense.
A prosecutor would try to make you look like some kind of killing machine, but if your not carrying it by all means, mod away.

Heres a little correction target to help analyze shot placement for everyone.
