There is an optics company that is called Counter Sniper. I searched for websites using that name and nothing. Supposedly they are really nice and a tad pricey but I cannot find anything on them at all. Anybody ever heard of this company or know anything about any of their stuff.
Nope. Never heard of it. Have heard of SuperSniper scopes that is actually made by TASCO but originally for milspec 10x contract IIRC. The scope from what I hear is a great value. I also hear the other magnifications are not as good. Probably not the same thing.

This originally started from a Guns and Ammo article where they had a 308 fitted with one of these scopes and I want to say the scope was 10x40x56 They are made out of aircraft aluminum and there is alot of other nifty little things about them. I have seen them mentioned a couple of other times, (not to that size) but other than being seen in an article and seeing a mention or 3 about them, its like the company doesn't exsist. I called and got the shop it was in to look in the magizine and the article and give me the web adress but it no longer works so my best guess is they were a failed company. The magizine however was from December 09.
That's a mighty bit of magnification good for shooting bacteria at 100 yards. I've seen a Schmidt and Bender that went as high as 12.5-50x56. At that magnification, you get mirage distortion, etc that makes for all crazy variables.

Found it, the magizine gave the wrong website, and for some reason Yahoo and google searches pulled nothing close to it up.

The magizine left off the optics, and the yahoo search for counter sniper came up with like computer related stuff. Anyway the prices are higher than giraffe pussy, but it all looks like some pretty cool stuff.
