It's about damn time they make a .45ACP M. I might actually buy an XD now.

Unfortunately, this is a SA brochure from SHOT... and when questioned about it, SA's definition of "soon" is August. =(
They have the XDm-40 in 3.8 coming out between now and then also. I still wish they put a shorter grip on those 3.8's... then they would be perfect - might even consider the XDm-40 in 3.8 as a carry weapon if it didn't have a 1 foot grip.
