Well, today was a milestone for me
My son is 6 years old and today he graduated to firing a scoped rifle at the (as he puts it) grown up sniper range....lol
For the people that know me are aware that personally Im not usually sentimental, Im sure Cris is saying......nooooooo really.
Anyway, this vid brought a tear to my eye when making it. Was a great day for me and I hope all of you have an experiance that brings you as much joy as this did.

Damn good vid of you and kid bro!
A couple of weeks ago I took my son to Markham Park to do some fishing. I stopped by the range to show him the firing line and for him to hear and see what it was like. Unfortunately, it seems that I'm going to have to wait a little bit before he is ready for it as the report of the shooters seemed to make him really uneasy. He's always hated loud fireworks as one time we were at EPCOT when he was about 2 and stayed for the fireworks show. He was screaming bloody murder when it got loud and there was no escaping it. Holy crap it must have made a permanent impression on him.

Awesome vid...
It seems like yesterday my daughter was 3, and now she is 11. Time flies and those memories will last a lifetime.
Looking good bro, I'm sure you made his day also. Tell him I said good job also and look forward to joining you both in the future. You are a sentimental bitch by the way. I actually know how you feel though, I remember taking Girl to the gun range for the first time. I was so proud that day and still brag about her skills and discipline at the range.
nice.. :flag: father son days are always great.. I can remember how proud I was of my son when he free dove to get his first lobster in the open water..
or watch my daughter machette her first snake... LOL :raspberry:
