A polymer Judge? LOL...
I don't think I would want that gun in a polymer frame.

Well, it's just that... you make a gun polymer mainly so that it is light, or for autos so that you can easily mold a double stacked magazine grip, but on these revolvers the polymer just seems to bulk up the frame even more, thus making it even less carry-able than if it had just weighed more.

No, but I do purchase direct from them and get discount pricing. If Lino doesn't work for Taurus I don't know if he can say the same.

Why feel bad about it? Only problem I have with them is their notched hammers and use of commercial parts instead of mil-spec which hinders their compatibility with the majority of aftermarket options for many parts.

:+1: I got one and it has performed flawlessly over the years!

I want something that can get wet and dirty and still perform milspec.

They'll both perform... but not being mil-spec means you won't always be able to grab parts off other rifles to keep yours working when the zombies come.

I want one of those spike's tacticals he does the torture test with. Throws it in muddy water, cocks it and you hear dirt grinding in the bolt, and it keeps on firing. That's what I want!

That all depends on how much money you have, should you need to buy a new one. Post a video of it on Youtube, and godspeed.

Do not go anywhere near Gunsmoke Enterprises. They have a very storied history of fraud, shotty workmanship, and playing the shell game with their ownership to avoid legal/financial issues.
They used to run the gunshow circuit and sold some of the shittiest stuff out there. Even if you only put their name on a real weapon I wouldn't buy it.
Btw, if you want that kind of reliability... you can expect that from many AR's, even without a piston. The weakest point in those stress tests is the barrel. You can either go with a fluted heavy barrel or an M4/Government profile barrel. But the grade of steel and the type is the most important to whether it will flex from the heat build up.
Your basic button rifled barrels are the weakest. The strongest is Cold Hammer Forged (often marked CHF).
Only 3 brands (that I'm aware of) currently use CHF barrels in most of their products. That is Daniel Defense, Bravo Company, and Spike's Tactical.
