Spike's has a Nickel Boron BCG made for them by FailZero, and it's only 225$ with the hammer. They also have FailZero making Nickel Boron fire control groups for them also for a new "enhanced lower parts kit" that will be coming soon. It will include all the goodies.

You can have an M16 bolt carrier in your rifle legally. The increased weight of the bolt carrier slows cyclic rate and reduces felt recoil allowing for faster follow up shots.

Huh lol then what's this coating Fail Zero is referring to?

The coating is Nickel Boron. But the process of coating the parts is patented and its' marketing name is "EXO technology".

The one I said was a regular phosphate one is an item SecPro linked to right above that but now says "edited" because he can't quote, link, add pics, or read product descriptions before posting.

This is what SecPro had linked from Spike's:

This is interesting technology. A deputy has been coming to the store interested in starting up a distributorship for these as his uncle is involved with the company. I honestly believe that some long term analysis is needed, but all of the torture tests that you see on YouTube are pretty impressive. I was even considering having my 1911 Government replated with this stuff as they have pretty good pricing on replating 1911's with this stuff. He even said there could be a group buy potential if we get enough people interested.

I would be surely in for a group buy if the opportunity presented itself. The technology does seem to be quite impressive to say the least.

If you guys are interested in these bolt carrier groups, I'll ask Spike's if they'll give any kind of discount for a small group buy.

I can do a group order on these for 200$/unit if we order at least 5. Comes with complete BCG and coated hammer, just like the FailZero package (but 100$ cheaper than FailZero). And we can save on shipping if 5 of you are all down there and I can throw them in 1 box and send them to like Guntech or something.

If you organize it, I'll go get them and ship them.
