View Full Version : Couple new toys....
So the knife rep was in the other day and we started ordering a few things for the shop and of course ourselves. First item to drop was the SOG Tactical Tomahawk. Yeah, its just one of those items I had to have. We ordered five of them and they are all gone, of course from all the inside people at Guntech.
Next, after several years of wanting this gun I finally gave in and purchased it. Springfield XD 45 4" model is now a part of the collection. I opted to get the regular model instead of the compact. For 3/4" inch difference in the grip, I would rather have the 3 extra rounds.
Sweet purchases!!! Love the tomahawk, that thing is business. I need one of those.
We are bringing a few more into the shop since everyone loved them. Should hopefully have them in this week.

Yours is what made me want that gun. I still haven't shot anything smoother than that gun. Test fired her today and she is now ready for carry.

Congrats on some new additions. What man doesn't need to have a Tomahawk in his collection along with a 45. Perfect pair!

It definitely doesn't do it justice.

My gf is tiny, like 5'2 115lb maybe, and she was nailing the bulls eye with it. She shot better with the .45 than she did my 9mm. In my case I don't think I can say the same any more as I have had a lot of practice with my XDm now, but I was impressed.

Nothing wrong with the XD9SC or the 340PD, hell even the PPS 9 is a great weapon. Well I have wanted this particular gun for several years and with other projects just about done I figured I would get this one going.
XD .45 is kinda big for carry... I want to shot it though..

Not really ! Same 4in as the .40& 9mm. Its' just a little heavier that the others fully loaded.

Won't be much different from me hauling the XDm around, and although it's not the most comfortable gun in the world (especially in the car) it is quite possible.

Well its definitely lighter than the Sig 220 Carry Elite, I might have to get one as well.
