since the change i have found the sight gets me dizzy and bothers my eyes leaving me to stop coming for now.. sorry to say i really do not like the new format.

if there are issues, anyone can change the skin to the default by going to the lower left of the screen in the style chooser and choosinf vbul default which is a liht skin until we can get things ironed out

i have done it.. i am not one for change sorry Chris , i just like the old format a lot more.. i'll stop by now and again but i think i am done for now.. I do applaud the work you have done so far, the site is a great place to chat and i have made some new friends.. but it is hard to read for me..

This is the first time I have been able to log on, the forum was giving me error messages but I actually like the new skin, its unique, different and so far the hasnt affected me. I dont like the lack of seperation in posts but like anything new I am sure given a little time I will adjust and figure it out. Overall its nice to see the typical generic forum look disappear for a while.

I first stumbled on the site a few days before the change and joined soon after. I second the notion that this new background, while very cool, makes it much more difficult to read.

I changed it to the white format. The black is to hard on the eyes to me. The log in works great now though. I use to have to log in, then click "forum index" before it showed me logged in.

Yes, the www subdirectory still tries to point to the old version which is still on the webserver. The old forumindex.php has not been pointed to redirect to the new forum.php yet.

It will get better.

Currently the most readable skin is "Darkness" and the most flexible is "DarkVision". Neither of those are branded and customized yet, but they are far easier on the eyes.

Personally I like dark skins over light ones because bright skins blind you over time, but it has to be layered to aid focus. Need to keep my tactical nightvision working. =)

Updated, branded, and defaulted Darkness. This is a good skin. Only issue is the width. I prefer a fixed width version. There are also a couple of little adjustments needed, so post up if you see anything out of place.

I find the text easier to read with the light white skin. I keep the brightness down on my monitor anyways because I am usually in my computer room when it is dark for long periods of time so any screen starts to hurt my eyes.

I lied. I just changed it to Darkness. I thought that Darkness was the black one with the TacticalAdv sign all over the place. I like Darkness. Keeping this until something better pops up.
