Final for Tacad Knives....New pics

Ok so finally I have recieved the first run of knives.
I have wrapped one and figured Id place the pics so everyone can see what they look like.
The quality of the steel is good and will be a useful and affiordable EDC knife if chosen to be used as such

The wrapped versions will be basketweave as shown below and will have a square stitch lanyard about 3 inches long with a silver retaining clip (thanks wifey) for letting me raid your jewelery and craft bin.
The paracord is on tight and doesnt move so overall i am extremely pleased with the end product.

I have sharpened one and a razor edge is achievable though I will most likely place a dual grind on these blades. A more conservative edge (working grind) on the body with a razor edge at the contour and tip just to be a little more useful and hold the edge a little longer
Im pretty happy with the way they came out. The size is perfect for a fixed blade carry knife, for me anyways.

With the 550 cord handle the grip is thin and fits in the hand nicely and seems very menueverable. Feels good.

I also know this is a little higher than I expected but the time effort and the raiding of the wifes jewelery box has forced me to have to replace some stuff for her....lol.

Just for the record the wrap requires about 8 ft of full stranded 550 cord in black, so pretty good stash

Oh yeah I like the paracord too. What are the chances of getting one that is blackened? That'd be my ultimate pick. Fold the belt loop down and wear it in the pants like a Crossbreed holster.

unfortunately cant do blackened right now, laser etch wont work on black. I have a couple that are unetched I could duracoat one if you desired.
would cost a little more though
