Novak Nite Sites

i have novak sites on my s&w 4053 (white dot), but i would like to upgrade them to the green ones. plus, the front site seems to be a bit faded.

is this hard to do on my own, or should i bring it in?

They are dovetailed and held in place by compression. In order to not damage the tritium vials, you have to use a sight pusher. If you don't have one, it is advisable to take it to someone that does.

Normally no drilling especially with the same type sights on a semi-auto.
