Not sure if this is best here!

I am waiting to receive a kydex sheath from Invictus Kydex. I had an old S&W Boot knife laying around and decided to field it as apart of my get up.
The first pic shows my custom sheath with a removable IWB loop.
The second shows my sheath mounted to my 6004 safariland holster for my XD9.

I'm a fan of custom work and Matt bends some damn good Kydex. Not to mention a reasonable price! His work speaks for itself checkout his site.

Not that it'll get you a discount or anything, but it doesn't hurt to mention that SecPro/Moose sent you. At least he'll know your a friend.

Why not? Because getting to just your knife now looks like a hand cramp and slow reaction speed. Move the knife in front of the pistol maybe?

Well I told him to give me the option to move it front or back. When he made it he said that it could of been drawn easily. The rear option is better to defend from a gun grab etc. I'll assess what works best for me when I receive it. Ease of motion is importan but so is keeping my tools mine.

That was my initial reaction as well. Secpro sent his holster to me so that I could accurately fit the sheath for mounting to his leg platform. So, I played around with different configurations. I didn't like the position shown in the photo, but, it's not my sheath, and how do I know what will work well for him? So, I built a sheath that can be mounted in a number of different positions. Secpro can figure out which he likes best, and go from there.

Welcome to the forum! I saw a setup where a guy had a fixed blade tanto mounted to his blackhawk dropleg in the front of the pistol.

I may need to get with you. I picked up a SOG tactical tomahawk and I'm thinking of a sheath that can configure to the back of a tactical vest.
