Just a couple of comments. First, you can't open the thumbnail pics without becoming a member there. Second, we get a heck of a lot of revolvers brought to the shop as a box of parts just to have them reassembled. On S&W's the trigger return spring can be tricky and the cylinder hand has about four different designs for spring tension. Two of them are extremely tricky to reinstall if you do not pay close attention to how it was factory assembled. However, I am not sure if those designs have ever incorporated the internal lock.

As far as a professional doing the mod, a licensed gunsmith has to be very careful removing any safety design of a firearm. Should that gun ever be used in any type of shooting accidental or not, it will potentially be a whole lot of headache.

I don't recommend screwing with any firearm like that unless you're an armor or some sort of gunsmith. Like SS1 stated if that thing is involved in any kind of accidental shooting or some shit you can find your self in a crazy shit storm.
