You know as shitty as they are I have a friend that loves the .45 Over 200ok just about and never had an issue. He sais it's cuz of the heavier firing pin they put in there. I'm like yeah whatever!

HI POINT MAIMS GUN SHOP EMPLOYEE.

When I worked at a local gunshop "smithing", we would get them in on trade in occasionally. We got in a pistol NINE mm, High Point, gave the owner 25.00 towards his new Taurus, and no 3 day wait. We would normally bust em up with a 20 pd sledge on the concrete floor of the store room. My buddy Ken shows up, he kinda works there, sorta, but mostly just hangs out and makes damn good company. So I tell him about the High Point NINE. He says yeah. lets bust it up at closing. So we close the store and Ken and I go in back with the 20 pd sledge and the HiPoint. I get first crack at it, BAM! smashed the slide, small bits scatter. Ken gets up to Bat, BAM! The slide snaps in half, the jagged metal edge scooting across the concrete floor at mach speed and impacting his BIG TOE sticking out from his beach bum sandals, GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! It split his big toenail down the center and left a horrible gash that shoulda had stitches.
The next day, the blood trail outta that place looked like a crime scene!!!!
We never did that again. They just got thrown in a box.
