You guys ever thought of adding a chat feature to the site?
No, we never chatted about that........
A few boards I visit have it. Usually only a handful use the chat/shout feature. Maybe with a bigger member base it would make sense here.

Nah, no one is on at the same times enough for it to make any sense.

I tried that in the past with our old clan... nobody used it after the first week and even then most people were signed into it but not actually at their keyboard. So I took it down to save resources and stop paying for the IRC channel.
I hate that option. I always look for the option to disable those chat boards. That's what they make IM's for, I barely sign into my Trillian anymore.

That's what drove me to first download the Grease Monkey plug-in. I was determined to destroyed the Facebook chat.

I think I've signed into AIM only once in the past 2 years just to keep my account active. Reminds me I should probably do that again.

AOL does an account clean up every 18 months or so. I don't know what the criteria is for removal nowadays, I haven't worked for them since 1997.
