Finally got the carry set up I've been wanting. No more hauling the XDm around in mid-summer with two shirts on.
XD .40 with Crimson Trace

I shot it today, and it actually shot a lot nicer than I had imagined. A lot of people say the .40 is to snappy for this size gun, but I had no problems. I was double tapping fine with it. Me like it!

Ok am I seeing shit or something? It seems your gun has a tail there? Like the grip above the spot between your thumb and forefinger goes back farther than the slide?

Yes, that is why lol.
LOL, yeah the crimson trace attaches to the back strap and a pin. Congrats on the purchase. It's an XD so you can't be disappointed.

Congrats. The woman today announced that she definitely wants my gun but she wants it with a stainless slide. Figures... she wants the only combination of the XD45c that is out of stock at all the major warehouses. Going to have to call SA and ask them when they plan to ship more out to distributors.

Convince her to get the OD green! I prefer owning black for tactical reasons, but out of all the variations I think the OD green is my favorite for the look of the gun.

Yh I like black as well. Wishing I had gotten my SR9 with black slide. Took a look at the SR9c and really liked it. Have been considering trading or selling in my for it...especially considering it has the extended mag for range and home

She wants a stainless slide for a carry piece? I don't like stainless for carry, if it shows at all the stainless is a pure eye catcher. Unless she has some really toxic sweat that you are not telling us about.
