Cabela's has a sale on Tula (they make Wolf Black Box) .223 ammo for 3.79$/box of 20. That puts 1000 rounds @ 189$.

p.s. They also have Herter's 45ACP bulk ammo (also Tula polysteel ammo) for 309$/1000 plus 2 of Cabela's MTN ammo cans included. Not a bad deal either, but you have to pay the heavy item charge on that one (total order comes out to 338$ delivered).
