Okay here it is my LWRC M6A2! I took this pic with my iPhone so its not the best, but it gets the job done. I am looking for a new flash hider, I don't like how the barrel and flash hider are different colors so if anyone has any suggestions let me know. I will attach a pic of the flash hider and barrel to show you the difference.

Yeah that is pretty crappy. YHM has some pretty good ones. How do you like that buffer you got in the first pics up top?

I like it, it makes the recoil a lot better and its a nice upgrade for about $90. I have no complaints with it at all. I put all the parts that were in my older Bushmaster into my LWRC, I have yet to shoot the LWRC so I'm excited to see how everything is going to work with the piston system. I was also thinking about the AAC Blackout have you seen those? and I'm also looking at the POF-USA Muzzle Brake. I am just looking for something that is the same color as my barrel.
IIRC, the Troy brakes/flash hiders are also pretty dark black. YHM's and most others all have that dark gray parkerizing.
My projects are still stripped lowers...LOL

YHM matches well because it has the same phosphating on them that most standard barrels receive. It won't be black like your receivers, but it will be dark gray like the barrel.

I like that front sight. Going to have to ask Spike's if they can start carrying those. I like the symmetrical design, looks like a snag free version of Troy sights. The matching rear sight has a rotating apeture instead of a flip style, also efficient.
Nice! I was looking to see where the empty bottle of vodka could be tho.

MrTJT your guns are bad, here is my first AR build. Started a few years ago and is slowly coming together
http://tacticaladv.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2282&d=1299019899
-Sun Devil billet lower
-DTI 1x9 5.56 barrel
-Daniel Defense Omega 7.0 quad rail
-Vltor Modstock
-MI low pro flip up rear sight
-MI flip up front sight
-Burris 4.5-14 Fullfield II b-plex
-YHM gas block
-Larue Tactical SPR 1.5 QD mount
-CAA AVG fore grip
-Ergo fat rear grip
-Larue Tactical sling
-Lots of full P-Mags
Cleaned to bare metal every fifth shot for first 100 shots... Yeah, pain in the @ss and probably overkill for a carbine but phuck it hahaha
Future plans:
-Get a smaller, tactical scope with illuminated ret. 1-4x Trijicon would be about right
-Daniel defense upper to match hand rail
-Tactical latch
-Meaner looking flash hider/forehead musher
-Maybe switch to piston
-Paint it
-Shoot it, clean it, kill stuff

Thanks RedDirt78. What kind of scope is that? have you thought about getting a Gas Piston Conversion Kit. Your build is looking good, yeah it took me about a couple years to get my LWRC and all the mods.

It's a Burris Fullfield II, OD green with ballistic plex. I have a few of them and they work great on my 7mm 08 and my 7mm STW but I have a friend who loads my ammo that has all the numbers/trajectory info figured out for that reticle. I dont have it figured out for the 223 yet cause I might switch scopes, don't really need this much magnification on this gun. I have had 0 problems with any of the Burris products I own and think the value to $ ratio seems good to me. Just got a good deal on one of their higher end scopes, the XTR 6-24x50. Going to try it on the gun in my avitar, really clear and sharp, looks to be quite a bit nicer than the other scopes I own from them but its in the $800 range instead of the $300 neighborhood.
