Yeah, I read this earlier today. I know a couple of people who do this with guns, as it is a game to them where they can start with a $100 surplus gun or a chinese 1911 clone, make it pretty and eventually trade up to a $1,000 gun. My problem is that if I make an ugly gun pretty, I usually don't want to get rid of it.
