i wouldnt really worry about production numbers on this guitar

its a signature but not a limited production run
also you may want to look into purchasing from american musical supply, they have a 3 or 5 pay payment plan that helps offset the cost of high end stuff.

wish i knew you were into this stuff i just sold my rack for 300 bucks(gave it away basically)

Ive actually played the metal head and found it to be a little crappy on the tone side

I ran it on 2 cabs, one with peavey BW's and one cab with celestions.

Not a bad rack set up. I got a few racks myself. A bit of a home studio too. And my M-Audio BX8a studio monitors sound amazing I might add. :p

Did you try the loose channel, cause thats the one that everyone is saying is like OMGZ SUPER METALZ

yeah ive had a few racks too, and i currently own 40 guitars ive had as many as 100 at a time but im needling down the collection.

I used to own a guitar business, im not crazy...i swear

im currently running a rocktron prophesy
using a old mesa triple rec and a BBE 882

im also fairly familiar with how to make amps sound good and really couldnt get what i liked out of the fender. Not to say you might not but im picky
I have a littel bit of a home studio as well thoug i never use it anymore, i use pro-tools HD with mackie boards

Holy shit even owning 40 is like wow. I play several instruments and my main focus is composing and recording my own music. So I'm not entirely a fulltime guitarist, but damn even if I was I don't think I'd have 40. I only have 3 and one is my acoustic!

I do have a Sitar I imported from India though :)
