I'm looking for a range in South Florida. I'm in Key West and there is nowhere to shoot. Lots of chickens but the LEO's frown on that. I here Glades is OK??? My carry gun hasn't went bang yet. I here Glades is OK???

I know several people go to Glades and say its a good place to shoot. Personally I haven't been there yet but a few on this forum have.

We go to Markham to shoot rifles. Closest place for us, as we're in North Broward.

I think Arizona is my new indoor range of choice. They're in the Sunrise/West Ft. Lauderdale area.

I don't have any knowledge of Dade. I've shot down there once...down in the Homestead area. Really nice range! Huge! I don't remember the name though.

Just go to the Ever Glades. Just be sure that you say "It's coming right for us!" before you shoot an alligator.

This is not so eco friendly but, rent a boat if you don't have one. Take it out a few miles and blow up (litterally) some balloons. Just make sure there are no boats or dive buoys around.

+1 Glades outdoor, big range.. you need to take a $10.00 saftey course before you can shoot there

Aces indoor, kinda small and the ac kept moving my target side to side, if you bring your own amo it cost an extra $6.00/hr more... nice people though..

Aces was small? I thought I saw like 20 lanes.

Aces

We offer 16 lanes for your enjoyment. 10 are handgun only & 6 are handgun, rifle and shotgun lanes. Maximum distance is 25 yards with distances marked at the 7, 15, and 21 yard lines.

FYI

16 lanes is a lot for an indoor range down here.

Yeah A/c does suck it moves your target around and they really fuck you on ammo and if you don't buy from them they screw you on the one hour range fee?

I went to Glades and it was a A-OK. I'll go again next time I have an excuse to get up that way. Thanks, Joe

Just make sure there are no boats or dive buoys around.

I can see where that would present an issue!
