Has anyone been to the Weston Arms store/range located on State Road 84, near Davie Road? Any good???
Nope...never even heard of them.
I don't think the range portion is open yet.

Saw it on my way home from work last night. I didn't even know it was there.
I don't think the range is open either. I went in there a while ago and there prices are ridiculous. What can you expect though "Weston" is in the name of the business. I also was in there for about 20 minutes until I was ready to purchase some targets until someone said something to me. The guy was too busy shooting the shit with his vendor, if I remember correctly it was a Sig rep. Not good business etiquette if you ask me.

I remembered this thread from days past, so I thought I would share yeaterday's experience.
W.A is not far from the house, so instead of tracking up to Arizona Range, I decided to give Weston a try.
Their prices are....high!
Looking around, and little bit of shiit shooting was going on. Guy walks in and says he wants to use the range. Guy behind the counter asks if he has a CWP, to which he replies yes.
I asked if the CWP is necessary to shoot at the range, and he said either the CWP, or you've purchased a gun from us.
Happily it wasn't crowded at Arizona!
Still keepin 'em in the center of the targets too!!!

Just thought I would chip in...haven't been there but have been told the prices are very high. I called regarding the SR9 but he wouldn't give me a price because he said he had just ordered them and wouldn't put a price on them til he received them which I thought was a little odd but whatever. Have also been told by same friend that the owner is kind of a dick, but I don't know from firsthand experience
I had heard that as well as their "membership" pricing. Let's just say, I'm in no rush to try them out. It is interesting that they have that requirement instead of the "no felons" signage that some ranges have.

No wonder why I don't go to Weston! Seems to me that the simple answer to all is just stay clear of that damn place.

Took my concealed class there, Alfie - the guy who owns the place teaches the class and is actually a cool guy. The prices are sky high, especially compared to Guntech and Lous. The range is open now, but havent been there to shoot simply because the guys working the counter are dicks.

pretty much the typical Bad Gun shop attitude where if they dont know you they wont treat you with any basic respect a person let alone a customer should get...

Which is why, if I can ever get the boss to remove his head from his anal cavity, Guntech gets my business as well as my recommendations when asked!
I went there this past weekend, and unlike so many above me, I had actually a pleasant experience.. I think the range price was a bit high.. $15/hr per person, but the range was nice, clean, and I like the CWP requirements as it keeps the wanna be gangsters shooting their 9's sideways screaming .. BANG.. BANG BANG... BANG.. TAKE DAT, BIATCH!!!!!!!!!!
ammo prices high, so bring your own.. and if all you're doing is going there to shoot, it's not bad.. and it's close to me, so that's another plus.. I walked in, on a monday, (the day, not the person), lol... and had the whole range to myself. Didn't have any problems with attitude or nothing.. ran outta ammo for the 9, and bought a box there.. won't make that mistake again, though, lol
over all, I didn't think it was too bad, but then again, I am usually a very patient person, and don't mind waiting if I need too.. sorry you guys experience wasn't as good.
I like the arizona range as well.. went there with Cris, just had to wait 45 minutes for a slot. I like the Pembrooke range (formally American Indoor), just too many wanna be gangsters there for my preference. Just my .02
oh.. and after going there last night to see Cris and get some "stuff".. I gotta say.. Guntech ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those people there are top notch in my book, and their prices are very good. Thanks Cris for hooking me up, brother.. I "owe ya", :D
No prob Waylon, glad to help ya out.
