View Full Version : rapid fire and shoot at things other than targets
Are there any legal areas here in dade and broward where you can rapid fire your guns?
Are there areas where you can shoot stuf... ie. a mellon, a paint can etc.
I remeber we used to shoot out by Krome 20 years ago..
The only place where I've been able to do that is either at Pop Dean's which is a private 100 yrd range off of US 27 and Stirling or miles out in the ocean.

Sharon who owns Pop's generally can accomodate shooters on Sundays and some Saturdays if you call ahead. PM me and I can give you her number if you have an itch to go. BTW, she has no problem with you bringing tannerite out there. She just doesn't allow you to blow up or shoot stuff with glass in it like monitors, tv's, etc. Her range fees are variable but usually are about $10 per person but are officially $20 per person. Bring your own stands, boards, and targets. I usually bring 1x2 stakes with cardboard, a mallet, and a heavy duty stapler. For those that had been out to Henry's in Homestead, Pop's is about 30-40 yrds longer and has permanent shooting benches and sun shades.

I have lots of old cell phones and other things that I think of shooting...lol... Let me know what someone is going to that place b/c im down to go.
