It's a solid piece of mahogany. No Connector between the body and the neck. There's active Seymour Duncan USA Live Wire pick ups in it that are quite colorful for active pickups. Which is exactly what I was looking for, because I wanted something that could do bone crushing metal tones and nice clean tones as well. The action on the neck is incredible. I hopped on this thing and pulling off an Iron Maiden solo has never been easier. Also, the paint job just fucking rocks. I am not one for painted up flashy guitars, but I just thought this one was an exception that I had to have. So I paid the extra cash for the paint job so I have something a little more exciting and unique. Hope you like it. I sure as hell do. \m/ ^_^ \m/

Sure there is. I don't have the amp yet. I only have goal number one accomplished. Amp comes next.

Also I am going back and learning how to solo like a mother fucker, because I dove into to many things at once when I started 5 years ago. Trying to learn to record, mix, master, play piano, etc etc.

So I have been practicing for a couple hours a night on solos and stuff.

Chris, got any tips on how to learn to solo good? I am completely self taught, so so far the best idea I have come up with is learning Iron Maiden solos.

I suck at guitar hero too.

I have always been self taught so I am looking for ways to teach myself how to solo. I mean what does it come down to? Just running up an down scales all day long?

Trying to figure out Iron Maiden solos note by note, stopping and replaying the part on the CD over and over again is taking forever lol.
