I think this will be my next handgun purchase. I have been drooling over it for quite some time now. "The Precious"

The Equinox™ is the balance between day and night. So it should come as no surprise that the latest SIG SAUER® P220 Carry has evolved from the SIGARMS® Custom Shop. The P220 Carry Equinox™ is a limited production .45ACP designed by SIGARMS® Custom Shop master gunsmiths. It features a two-tone accented Nitron® stainless steel slide with a lightweight black hard-anodized alloy frame. The contrast in color is achieved by the brush polished flats of the slide and nickel accents. The combination of the TRUGLO® Tritium Fiber Optic front sight and the rear SIGLITE® night sight provides excellent target acquisition, whether shooting day or night. To further enhance the low-light use, the Equinox™ comes equipped with a Picatinny rail. To complete the package, the Equinox™ comes with gray laminated wood grips with a perfect blend of checkering and stippling to enhance not only the form but the function. Equinox™ - The Perfect Balance.

I just retired my Sig P220 as a duty weapon. Great gun, but too big to be carrying these days. Carried it for 5 years in uniform.

Sights are Truglo. Yes, I didn't intend to carry this piece more a fun gun. I wouldn't want to holster this gun everyday.

By the way that grip isn't bad at all. If I get a chance I will get a pick of a tough grip for ya.

What?!!! No threaded barrel? LOL! I do love the blackened wood grip panels. BTW, that short action trigger upgrade is worth it. Didn't I see this at the shop?

Isn't this the 45 I was looking at, last time I was in the shop?

Yep, that would be the one.
