pop dean's
I have sharons number...you need to befriend her to get the number to setup a time...it is by appt. only
Sharon is pretty cool but albeit somewhat eccentric. The line of the range has a sunshade and benches. The berm is about 100 yrds and there are no target stands provided. If you want to use target stands, bring your own. I use surveying stakes, some screws, and a staple gun with some cardboard and a mallet to stake it in the ground. She allows tannerite, but does not allow anything of glass that can make the field dangerous to walk such as tv's and monitors. Also, about 240 yrds out beyond the berm, FPL has the big powerlines that run along US27. If you nick or damage any of the line equipment by not keeping your line of fire safely into the berm, you will be paying FPL for the damage. Otherwise, you can pretty much have at it.
Here is some pics of us blowing up a washing machine tub full of stuff with one can of tannerite. If you don't know what tannerite is, google it. Great reactive targets. Get it before they ban it as well.
Oh yeah, and you have to clean up after yourselves or you won't get invited back.
:sniper: Cool
does it get crowded? do they have a dumpster, or do you have to haul it away? How many people can go?

It can get pretty crowded there at times. She has a dumpster for you to dump the stuff you've put holes thru. In fact, you can see it in the last picture in the background.

it would be nice to go to a setup like Markham but without worrying about the retards and the occasional range nazi.

yo Phil I'm looking to set up a range day at pop dean's, can you get me their info?
Look at the range's calendar on their website: www.popsrange.com and then email her at sharon@popsrange.com to see if she can accomodate on that date. Between the classes in the next few weeks, she may be able to schedule some peak time.
