I think their ammo is $ 50.00 a box.

And, I think they have that policy that only allows you to shoot ammo purchased from them. Fuhgett about it!!!!!

I shot my own ammo when I went there earlier this year when American was closed.

I told them I had my own when I went in, all I purchased was some paper targets.

You can bring your own ammo in there, no issues.

I went to Big Al's today, just to fire off a couple hundred rounds with my new Glock 30. With one box of ammo purchased there and one paper target, it came to $ 28.00.

My Glock 30 is great!! But that range price was ridiculous.

how did you like the glock doug?

Great weapon! Easy to shoot and extremely accurate! I will probably start carrying the 30, instead of my duty weapon (Glock 23).

Actually that price may be about right Doug. The box of ammo I am sure they charged you at least $16 for. Most range fee's are around $10.

Maybe so. I guess their a/c vents must have been blowing like a hurricane downrange, because my target would not stop moving up and down and side to side, no matter what I did. I notice the person next to me was having the same problem. They would only stay still at the 8-10' line.

The price to pay of shooting at the indoor ranges.

I have noticed that if I stapple extra cardboard on the target at the bottom and the sides, it moves less... just my .02

Probably one of the main reasons that when I qualify at work, the ENTIRE target is secured to cardboard.

Uhhhh no.

I went with a couple buddies last week and ran about three hundred rounds of Winchester/Walmart ammo through the Glock and a few others.

Y'all ain't kidding about the moving targets!!!

I will use the extra cardboard next time. It was good that it was nice and cool in there though!:)
