View Full Version : After a nice satisfying Gator win, I need to go shooting
Heading out to probably Markham tomorrow morning if the weather holds up. If anyone else is interested in going as well, post or PM me! Maybe do a Pop's Dean shoot instead of Markham? What say you? Anyone? Bueller?

Saw the second half of the game too. Pretty crazy! I thought the Gators were done when they missed that 42 yarder.

what time will this be happening? im interested if it's at pop's dean so i can finaly go there. give me a call if you decide to go. got a few pistols i want to try out =)
Pop's is closed today for some sitework necessary for a booking by the Aventura PD. Oh well. Markham is definitely out this late in the day.
No good for today. They are setting up for something out there. I want to check this place out also.

Went out there around 12/1ish. It was PACKED!!! Standing room only in the waiting area.
Went over to Big Al's and ran a couple hundred through the Glock.

went to Markham park about a month ago, same thing...an hour wait! :(
i didn't have that problem at trail glades.
When you go to Markham you have to get there early, that or go during the week.
It's funny at Markham sometimes. When they have an event there, it takes up almost half of the range and the waiting list begins even before they open at 8:00am on weekends. It's a little better since they started the 2 tier pricing and 4 hour limit. there are times when I'll leave on a Sunday and there's a lull with no waiting while other times, the waiting room is packed. If we can get enough interest, maybe we can do a range day at Pop's where we rent it out for 1/2 day. I do need to sight in my .308 soon tho!

I'd have to ask Sharon but I'm guessing $250 and the line can accomodate at least 20.
