After the first time out finding that the GSG liked the Federal Bulk ammo the best, I did a complete strip of the gun. Did a good cleanin and oiling of the internals where i could see the rub marks.

I metup with Chris ( The friendly owner of this beloved board) and added the UTG Tri-Rail. This replaced the rather lightweight front handguard that cam with the gun. The Tri-rail is rock solid and added a whole new feel to the gun.

This time out the GSG ran MUCH MUCH better. I was joined at the rang by Cmagz and MineOwner. We put about 160 rounds through the GSG. Out of 160 rounds, I had 1 stove pipe (just had to rock the bolt and back in action). The only other hiccups were 2 rounds that did not go bang. The seemed to have good primer strikes just the round didnt ignite. I Can not blame the gun for this. So all in all 160 more rounds ith only 1 minor hiccup (.22 what can you do). I feel with a bit more break in, it will run flawless. I am very happy thus far with the purchase.

Didn't you do the toy run? I wanted to go today but too busy with the X-mas thing....

I was picking up some stuff last night and didn't have time to pick up a toy for the toy run.

Spur of the moment? That makes no difference to me. You know that road across the street by McDonalds? I live right down there. I can always go last minute there.

I try... I enjoy shooting there too , they leave you alone, arent dick heads and it isnt too far for me , easy shot up( no pun intended) the turnpike or even staying on 441 ..

tell your dad I have met 28 other Ira's , yea i know wierd but with a unique name it is easy to remember..
