Glock 30 disassembly

How far back to do move the slide to disassemble the Glock 30? I can't get it to save my life!!!!!!!!!!!

1/4 - 1/2 inch

make sure to pull the trigger on an empty chamber first..gun must be decocked

If that. I just take it back enough to relieve pressure off of the takedown lever but not enough to engage the firing pin

I usually do the same pull down on the take down levers then pull back until I feel the pressure give on the levers.
