Hello everyone. Both spikes40 & cmagz told me this is the site for SoFla firearms, so figured I'd drop in.

Looking for a 45ACP, although in the past had an adversion for 'tactical tupperware' but am seriously entertaining the purchase of Glock 21.

My real question is the quality difference between the Trijicon Night Sights, as opposed to Glock Night Sights. Your feedback is welcome.

Please let me know if anyone has a line on 21, or comparable.

From what I have seen from the different sights is not much to constitute a healthy premium to have it say Trijicon on them. Most people do put the Glock night sights on. I personally am not a fan of them. I sure they work well at night but have no added benefit during the day.

Come check us out at Guntech for your G21. You should be happy with there prices.

Welcome to the forum also. We won't hold knowing Spikes40 and Cmagz against ya.

I recently purchased a Glock 30, and I love it!

We install a lot of Glock nite sites as it is the lesser expensive option over the other brands of nite sites we carry at Guntech. The biggest difference is that the Glock front post in crimped while the Trijicon is screwed on. IMHO, the trijicon would take a direct impact if dropped or banged against something better than the Glock. Also, one client actually pointed out that the front post Glock nite sites are actually angled slightly downward, so the gas tube isn't exactly parallel to the top of the slide. I never noticed it prior it it and it may be designed that way on purpose.

Thanks for your prompt feedback. Glock 30 is the compact version of G21, correct? While I appreciate the compact design, its a compromise as far as capacity. But doesn't G30 still hold 10 rounds?

G21 = 13 rounds

G30= 10 rounds

This is with standard mags of course.

I got my Glock 30 for off duty carry. It's small enough, yet more than powerful to stop a threat. :-)
