As of today both Phil and I joined Nicky and Rich from Guntech to become Glock Certified Armorer's, we were also joined by Tattoo John which works for the Tattoo shop that was on TV Miami Ink. Which I am hoping to see John on the forums very shortly. Another class that I feel that could have been wrapped up in a shorter amount of time but still learned some things about Glock's I didn't know before.

Congrats Phil & John (when you get on here)

So, you just became certified now, which would mean you were NOT certified when you worked on my Model 30? I demand an apology!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but the shop supervisor was certified! LOL! My internet was down until just now. Congrats to Cris as well, as much as it pains him to now be called GLOCK Certified. Kick'n and screaming all the way.

SHHH!!! :bolt: Yes I was trained by a certified armorer to do what you needed Doug and under his wing I was able to do it. Now I am just able to do it on my own if needed. Not that there is much to know about a Glock now to just pick Phil's mind some more to work on some real guns.

So you now know how to work a glock? Poor guy! There needs to be a XD armorer class or something, even an AR course armorer course would be good.

Yes, the guy was selling Glock hats yesterday and I was going to ask him if he had a Springfield hat.

Ken, that was a no prob to begin with. Night sights on a Glock is a 5 minute job. Tru-Glo's are my favorite sight.

Yeah, now we know which extractor spring bearing your pre-loaded chamber indicator extractor for you G17 needs vs, having to go read the fine print on the Glock parts list. There are certainly other important things that we learned, but honestly, we were doing even more advanced procedures, such as trigger jobs and countless sight replacements that really were never covered in detail in the armorer's class. Having the right person to train you as an "apprentice" to get hands on experience is considerably more valuable than a certificate.

I must say that the highlight of the class tho was to check out and handle an actual G18. 33 rounds in 1.4 seconds.

G18 was definitely cool to see, Did anyone find out how much Jim paid for that one?

LMAO!!! It was just so I had the cert to say I could work on them. Might as well take advantage while being in the business to take the class. Plus it made Richard the owner of Guntech so happy. LOL!!!

That's a norm for him. Glock was a plus.
