Just in case there are, there is a 600/600 tourney going on at Derby Lane in St Pete March 27-29. First place is 120,000$. There's two Day 1 flights (from 300 down to 40) and then Day 2. Buy is 600 + 60 house fee. Each paid place is -3% to gratuity as well.
Already won my buy-in on a high card jackpot this week. I have been playing there when I can lately and even on the smaller tables (.50/1 and 1/2) I usually profit 150-300 in a couple hours. Wish I had more time to play.
Atleast I know what I'll do if I ever get laid off. Sign up for unemployment and then head to the poker room. =)
