Why do you guys hate him so much? He is the greatest president we've ever had! He's going to reform all of our gun policies and make things right!:bolt:
Alright now seriously it was hard to write that without laughing my ass off, but that is an arguement I hear often.
Now that we have employees, we're feeling the effects of this stimulus package. Let me say from first hand experience, this plan will NOT help create jobs for people. It's punishing the employers. We've got some serious issues here, and people don't even understand what's going on.

You can't create jobs with a bunch of randomly located 3-month overhaul projects. All you're doing is floating a few small businesses for 90-days before they too go out of business.
Banks, Insurance, and other intangible companies should not have received a dime. That cash should've gone toward stimulus checks for non-retired legal US working tax payers that make less than 100,000$/year in 2008. You could send about 10,000$ to each of those people in the form of a "debt payment account" that could only be used to paying bills/debt. All of those payments would free up peoples debts so they can afford their over-inflated home, the banks and other highly debted companies get paid on their past-due accounts that are dragging them down, and then the consumers have money left in their weekly paychecks that can be spent on "wants" instead of not even having enough for "needs". Probably solved.
But since the damage has already been done in bailing out banks/insurance companies then those that receive funds should have to credit that much back to their account holders (customer accounts) that are within the middle-class based on either credit limits or stated income on their initial application, instead of just using that cash to buy each other and let it disappear into the void even more.
There is no reason for the people to reward businesses that aren't doing anything but continuing to bend over their customers. It's quite sad that all these economists can't lay out a simple and logical plan that would be easy to understand AND KEEP TRACK OF.
